Dear Members,

Thank you for the enthusiastic support for the recent Maryland Printmakers Celebrate Ten Years exhibition at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts in Annapolis and Maryland Printmakers Expanded Techniques at the Mary Condon Hodgson Art Gallery at Frederick Community College. Many thanks to the hardworking members who helped facilitate these exhibits, including Emily Kutler and Nicole Law. I would also especially thank Megan O’Brien for her tireless dedication and quality output of the Maryland Printmakers Newsletter.

I look forward to our May 15th member meeting at the Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts in Annapolis. We have wonderful demonstrations planned and a very important agenda to address. We have a firm date for the Maryland Printmakers 10th Anniversary exhibition and celebration. The Rockville Arts Place had graciously offered us their beautiful gallery space to show our work from October 16 to November 24, 1999 and there we can host a wonderful party for our anniversary celebration. Save the date, Saturday October 16, 1999. This will be the date for the opening reception for our show and a party will follow early that evening. At our spring meeting, we will inform you of further details and developments.

I look forward to sharing more good news with you soon at our upcoming members meeting. I want you to know that several board members term of duty are coming to a close. I am asking that if any of you are interested in joining the board, please thoughtfully consider. We have a lot of exciting plans and goals and I can assure you, this would be a great time to jump in!

Sincerely,

Susan J. Goldman
