First Lady of Maryland, Frances Hughes Glendening views the Maryland Printmakers

The Maryland Printmakers was invited to participate in the Fall Gallery
Tour, Road to the Arts in Howard County, at the Howard County Center for the Arts. This
annual event celebrates the opening of the 1998-1999 gallery season. The tour was
highlighted by the presentation of the Howard County Arts Council FY99 arts organizations
grant awards by Frances Hughes Glendening, the First Lady of Maryland. The awards were
presented on September 11th at HCCA during the opening reception. The
reception was well attended and beautifully presented. Megan O'Brien's print, Lithuanian
Series: Garden I, was sold during the exhibition. |
