Shomberg 'N Partrdge Run Pinup Girl JH "Tierney" (Ch. Shomberg's Browning Citori x Ch. Sartlite's Calamity Jane)

"Tierney" earned her Junior Hunter, November 2001, finishing her JH title in 4 straight tests with the highest of scores. She was handled to this win by Rich, and received raves from judges and other participants alike for her exceptional birdwork.

These photos below were taken on the morning of November 10th, 2001, in fields near the BCC Izaak Walton chapter near the Potomac River outside Poolesville, Maryland. Our heroine in these images is 2-year-old Tierney, being worked by owner Rich Mahoney with help from trainer Jim Birdsall of Southern Pines GSPs of Poolesville.

Rich and Tierney head out. It's a brisk, sunny morning, and there's frost on the field.
Jim has put out some birds, but as she races through the grain, cut corn, and weeds, Tierney locks onto a number of other great smells.
With Rich providing some guidance from the sidelines (those are his feet), Tierney zeros in on one of the grass humps where Jim has stashed a chukar.

On another pass around the field, Tierney makes sure that her audience (Mary Laur, Brenda Rhodes, and Leesy McDonnell) all get a good look at her splendor.
And, after that little warm-up, it's point, point, point!
