Briar took 1st place in the 12 to 18 Month Bitches class at the Catoctin Kennel Club AB show on Thursday, July 5, 2001.  The following three days she placed second in the same class at the Northeastern Maryland Kennel Club on Friday, July 6, 2001, the Upper Marlboro Kennel Club, Inc., on Saturday, July , 2001, and at the National Capital Kennel Club, Inc. on Sunday, July 8, 2001

Follow link to GSPCA.ORG		 On May 24, 2001, at the German Shorthaired Pointer Club of America National Specialty Show, Briar took 1st in the Sweepstakes (Bitches 12 months & under 15 months), judged by Mr. Robert McKowen, and became Best In Sweepstakes 2001.

On the same date in the National Show Futurity, judged by Mrs. Mary Finely, Briar took 4th in the Intermediate Bitches class.
Winners Bitch at Old Dominion Kennel Club Old Dominion Kennel ClubApril 19th, 2001, and Briar is being handled by Peggy Roush, PHA. Briar is shown at the Old Dominion Kennel Club show in Leesburg, VA, and earns two points as the Winning Bitch.
